For community members or employees who want or need CPR and AED training. This hands-on skills training prepares participants to care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, performing CPR on adults and using an AED on victims of sudden cardiac arrest. 

Designed for those who care for children, this course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children age 12 and younger. In addition, you'll receive training in using an automated external defibrillator.

Participants must pass a written test with a score of 80% or higher and demonstrate the required skills with minimal prompting from the instructor. Participants must bring their their own pocket face mask to class.

This all-inclusive course teaches candidates the skills and knowledge needed by professional lifeguards to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies at swimming pools. All required CPR and First Aid skills are included in this course. This course meets the NYS Dept of Health requirements for lifeguards. A pretest is required before enrollment.
